Paleo Diet Recipes & Paleo Diet Meal Plan...

Here's a Paleo Meal Plan That Will Satisfy Even the Fussiest Cave Man!

What is Paleo?  The Crossfit diet and the Paleo Plan.

Paleo Recipes:

Are you looking for some easy paleo recipes?

Ahhh...Did I hear you say "yes"? All right, that's great because I'm going to reveal a super easy to prepare paleo diet recipe that will surely blow your taste-buds away!

You know, when I first got on the "caveman diet" bandwagon, I felt frustrated! Frustrated! Frustrated!! The reason? Well, because there was a distinct lack of simple to make paleo recipes.

I totally agreed with the philosphy of the Paleo Diet.  Eating a diet that our ancestors ate -- and that our bodies are designed to digest -- made complete sense.  No wonder doctors are solidly behind it.  No wonder that people who follow it are so fanatical about it.  When a diet not only causes weight loss, but actually gives you such energy and health gains... Wow!

And Men love it!  All that red meat -- and freshly caught fish!

But all I could find was recipes that were so ridiculously elaborate, I might as well learn how to hook up my iPhone with a toilet flush. So if I forget to flush, I just press a few buttons on my iPhone and then FOOSH...My toilet flushes automatically while I'm slaving away in the kitchen preparing one of my drab tasting paleo soup recipes.

And that's another problem!

Easy paleo recipes are usually ho-hum. You have to add in all sorts of ingredients and do all kinds of cooking preparations in order to make a paleo dish tastes really good. Otherwise, you'll end up eating bland meals day in, day out (Bleh!).

So that's why you should try the recipe below. As I said, it can be done with little fuss and tastes great as well! If you need more easy paleo recipes, then check out the link at the end.

I downloaded a set of paleo cookbooks containing hundreds of recipes. You can find seafood recipes, omelette, sandwiches, lunch, dinner, etc, etc...Basically they got everything covered.

Now I have nice collection of both simple and complicated Paleolithic diet recipes and meal plans to try out. No more headaches trying to figure out what to eat! No more eating boring paleo soups!

Okay! Now go give this recipe a test drive!

Recipe Name: Skewered Diced Beef with Brinjal

You'll need:

1. 220g of diced beef
2. 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
3. 1 sliced brinjal
4. ½ salt or use Vegetables Organic Kelp Granules Salt if you're a paleo diet purist
5. A pinch of pepper
6. 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
7. Several wooden skewers, soak them in cold water for approx 20 minutes.

Directions:

1. Pre-heat the BBQ grill to high or oven to about 180°C

2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix them around.

3. Skewer the beef and brinjal. Next you line the oven tray with a sheet of baking paper coated with some olive oil sauce. Bake for about 40 minutes. If you're using a grill, just cook both sides until desired doneness.

So stop savor this delightful dish while they are still hot and juicy!

Paleolithic Chicken and Carrot Curried Soup Recipe

You'll need: ½ tbs curry powder, 1 cup of diced chicken breast, 1 cup of chopped carrots, ¼ cup of chopped walnuts, ½ cup of coconut milk, 1 stalk of celery, 1 medium sized onion, 2 cups of water, 1 tbs olive oil and a dash of pepper.

Directions:

(1) Sauté celery and onion with olive oil. Next, you throw in the carrots and walnuts. Sauté these for several more minutes.

(2) Add chicken and then pour in 2 cups of water. You should cover and allow the ingredients to simmer for 10 to 20 minutes. Let the chicken and carrots become 100% tender.

(4) Finally, add curry powder, sprinkle some pepper and blend all over again.

Alright! Now, please enjoy one of the best paleo soup recipes in the whole wide world and for some extra kick, top it with some crushed macadamia nuts and agave.

Chicken is among the most preferred foods in the Paleo diet. With fully Paleo qualities, chicken can be used in a number of Paleo recipes. Delicious and very simple to cook in a number of ways, you can use it in nearly every type of meal. Be it a breakfast meal, main dish, salad or side dish, there are an unlimited number of ways to prepare chicken by just adding more ingredients that will provide additional flavor to it.

Chicken and egg salad with almond satay sauce is one of the most common chicken Paleo recipes. Other than having chicken, it has got eggs which are an excellent source of proteins, almonds and coconut cream which are also fully Paleo foods and excellent alternatives to dairy products. Having all the needed ingredients to be used as a main meal, this Paleo chicken recipe may also be used as a side dish. A breeze to cook, this healthy recipe will please grown-ups and children.

Another delicious and simple to prepare recipe with only seven ingredients is the chicken breasts piquant. Paprika, onion, lemon and pepper are among the many ingredients. Like many other Paleo recipes, this particular chicken recipe has 2 ingredients that are used in just about every Paleo dishes, they are garlic and onion. If you look at cookbooks or online recipes you will note that numerous versions of the chicken breasts piquant are found. Each person introduces a personal touch by adding just a little honey or green peppers or any number of ingredients and the resulting recipe will still be really yummy.

As you might have noticed, one of the preferred ingredients in the Paleo diet is coconut milk. Coconut milk is loaded with calcium plus its a terrific substitute of dairy products which are not part of the Paleo diet. Mixing coconut milk with chicken and adding curry we get an ideal recipe. Thai coconut chicken curry combines the sweetness from the coconut full fat milk with the fairly bitter curry flavor. Whether using yellow, red or green curry paste, the recipe is going to be delicious either way. Some additional ingredients can be used like a bundle of asparagus which would turn the recipe into a more appealing and delicious one.

Certainly, the quantity of delicious and lovely Paleo chicken recipes is huge and it is very hard to pick only 2 or 3 and say: these are the best ones. The secret is to choose one chicken Paleo recipe and then make new (blank) unique recipes by changing the ingredients and adding new ones. A teaspoon of a new ingredient can turn a bland dish into an exotic and incredibly tasty meal.

CrossFit is quickly becoming a proven technique for athletes.  Crossfit endurance, crossfit workouts and crossfit training are gaining serious followers.  Paleo is the best nutritional program for crossfit.

Many people have discovered, or rediscovered, their health through the Paleolithic diet and Paleo recipes. This is not new information, just a reminder of how much better off we were when we ate foods that are more palatable for human genetic evolution.

Many years ago, our diet consisted solely of lean meats, seafood, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables. These foods that are all natural contain all the essential dietary supplements that our bodies need to thrive. They have vitamins, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, antioxidants, and phytosterols - everything that our body needs to maintain optimum health, an ideal weight, and perfect athletic ability.

People that have been eating according to the Paleolithic diet and Paleo recipes can say they are lean and fit, have skin that is acne-free, their athleticism is at its peak, and they are free from metabolic-related and autoimmune diseases.

Some of the essentials for following Paleo recipes include:

* Eliminate grains (including bread and pasta), beans (string beans, kidney beans, lentils, peanuts, snow-peas, and peas), potatoes, dairy products, sugar, and salt from your diet.

* Eat meat (chicken and fish), eggs, fruit, vegetables (root vegetables), nuts (walnuts, Brazil nuts, and almonds), berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc).

* Increase your intake of root vegetables (carrots, turnips, and rutabagas), and organ meat (liver and kidneys).

When you start eating foods that are listed in the Paleo recipes, you should keep in mind that it will take time for your body to adjust to your new diet. Start slow and work your way up to an exclusive Paleo diet - one that incorporates all meals.

There are many Paleo recipes and Paleo cooking tips to help you get a good variety of meals and food types into your diet. You can find anything from simple meal recipes to sophisticated meals that you would be proud to serve to guests.

Looking for a few suggestions to include in your Paleo recipes?

* Add steamed vegetables to a meal that includes a roast that was cooked in the oven, in a pan, or in a crock pot.

* Cook a roast with herbs and spices. Serve it with soup, salad, stew, an omelette, curry, or a sauce that will compliment the meat.

* You can make your own fresh mayonnaise, stock, salsa, butter or pate.

* Other foods that can be added to your meals are bone marrow, squid, venison, liver pate, heart, tongue, sauerkraut, and coconut.

Do you feel tired when you wake up? Are you feeling like there is no more fuel in your tanks to get you through the rest of the day? Is your health on the decline? Have you ever stopped to think what might be causing these problems? The cause could be the way you eat. A paleo diet could help resolve these issues. And when I say "be the way you eat" I'm not talking about sitting around the T.V. or in the car. I'm talking about what you eat, your diet and the foods that make up that diet. Here is what I mean.

Paleo recipes are based on a diet that originated from the cavemen era or hunter-gatherer groups this diet is called the Paleolithic Diet.

The diet is natural and local foods, which means no processed food or unnatural flavorings that you have never heard of. Just healthy recipes that use natural and local foods, because things like processed sugars and unnatural ingredients have a large impact on the body that can be harmful. Our bodies don't know what to do with many of these unhealthy and non local foods. It is like trying to clean the basement after randomly throwing stuff down there for a long period of time. You just don't know what to do with everything, same concept applies to your body.

Some of the damage that is done by processed foods can be quite surprising. Some examples are obesity, heart disease, teeth problems and many effects that are caused by unnatural flavorings and sweetener. Healthy paleo recipes eliminates things like processed sugars, preservatives, dairy, unnatural flavorings and sweeteners, and lentils. Giving you a more natural diet that your body knows how to deal with.

The paleo diet's healthy recipes make meats, fish, seafood, and many different types of fruits and vegetables and many other healthy local ingredients into amazing tasting meals that anyone can make and enjoy. You might be thinking "Well,  that is boring and bland," but there are loads of healthy paleo recipes for snacks, desserts and even plenty of breakfast too. Nothing beats know you have plenty of healthy dessert recipes for when your sweet tooth comes knocking.

So make that change from your unhealthy diet that is affecting your life to a diet that makes you feel great. Healthy paleo recipes can help you make sure your tanks are filled so you can do what you want through the day. Or help you improve your health, even give you a better nights sleep and a more refreshing morning. What do you have to loss when there is so much to gain, give the healthy paleo diet a try you might be very surprised.

When it came to finding precise Paleolithic diet food list and recipes, part of me felt like giving up! This happened months ago when I was first introduced to the world of Paleolithic nutrition diet. See, there was so much contradicting information on what can or cannot be eaten by a Palo diet follower.

All right, look, we don't have to be so neurotic about it. We do have the choice of adding non-Paleo friendly ingredients in our daily meals. Really, it all depends on your level of strictness.

And besides, there are plenty of seasoning alternatives to juice up the taste of your daily Paleo meals. For example, many folks like to add salt in their dishes (me too!). Now, in the caveman diet list, salt is a no-no item.

So what can you do?

Well, I just use vegetables organic kelp granules or add more sautéed onion, garlic and shallot combo to juice up the taste of my Paleo foods.

Listen, I learned A LOT of about Paleolithic diet food list along with tons of tasty recipes from several downloadable cookbooks. I'll tell you where to get those cookbooks in a short while, but I'm in a sharing mood right now so check out the following food list and recipe first.

Basic Food List

Fruits and Vegetables - Asparagus, avocado, apricot, bananas, capsicum, cabbage, garlic, ginger, leek and lychee are all Paleo approved. Meanwhile, peas, green beans, sweet potato, and chestnuts are not Paleo friendly.

Meats and seafood - Bison, cow, buffalo, duck, poultry venison and veal are alright. Bacon and ham on the other hand, aren't 100% Paleo approved.

Other foods to be avoided by strict Paleo followers - Maple syrup, coffee beans arrowroot and gelatin.

Now, here's one of my favorite Paleo diet recipes!

Paleo Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients:1 lb ground turkey, 1 teaspoon kelp granules, 1 onion, 1 egg, ½ cup ground nuts combo ( 1 combined crushed walnuts and almonds), 5 cloves garlic, some black pepper.

Directions: Combine ingredients well. Next, grease a loaf pan with some olive oil and put the mixed ingredients on the pan. Bake for approximately 70 - 75 minutes.

Now, SATISFY your gastronomic urge with this yummy turkey meat loaf made with ingredients that are in accordance with the Paleolithic diet food list.

Celiac Disease - Gluten / Wheat Intolerance

Celiac disease is an auto-immune disease that is triggered by the consumption of gluten. Gluten is protein found in grains like wheat, rye, barley and other related grains. With celiac disease the lining of the small intestines is injured by gluten. Injured intestines results in weight loss, bloating, diarrhea, gas, abdominal cramps and nutritional deficiencies. If gluten is removed from the diet the intestinal lining will not be damages or has a chance to heal. Many with celiac disease remain on a gluten-free diet throughout their lives.

Removing gluten from your diet is not easy. Grains are used in the preparation of many foods. Reading the ingredient's name may not disclosure the inclusion of gluten. Examples would be oats. Oaks are suppose to be safe for gluten patients but have been known to be cross-contaminated if processed in the same facilities as wheat. Celiac disease is a hereditary condition. Most common among with those of Scandinavian-Celtic descent. Approximately 1 in 133 people are gluten intolerant. A specialized doctor should be consulted.

Casein Allergy: Casein is a primary type protein found in milk and milk derivatives. Some manufactured foods can contain casein. Casein allergy is more common in children than adults. Casein allergy is an immune system disorder. Symptoms can be rashes, eczema and stomach cramps. More severe reaction can occur. Note that manufactured foods may contain casein. Read the labels and check for casein-free products.

Many Products have gluten included:

Paleo Diet Meal Plan - Here's a Paleo Meal Plan That Will Satisfy Even the Fussiest Wooly Mammoths!

Repeat after me: "I'm capable of dishing out a sinfully delicious Paleo diet meal plan that will rock the appetite of even the fussiest Wooly mammoths."

That's right! We Paleo diet followers can cook up a storm in the kitchen. You see, I dislike hearing ignorant comments made by people who do not follow this diet. They say we only eat awfully bland Paleo dishes...They are so wrong!

Now, Wooly mammoths from the Paleolithic era have long gone from this world, but we caveman of the 21st century are here and ready to prepare high quality Paleo recipes, right?

So without further ado, here's a very satisfying 2-course Paleo diet meal plan (more Paleolithic recipe resources are included at the end of this piece). If those mighty Wooly mammoths are alive, surely they will lap up these dishes and may even ask for a second serving!

Meal 1 (Appetizer):

Beef and Carrot Curry Soup

½ Cup of coconut milk
1 Large onion
1 stalk of celery
½ Tablespoon of red curry paste
1 Table spoon of olive oil
½ Cups of walnuts
1 ¼ Cups of carrots (diced)
2 Cups of water
A drizzle of honey
A couple of pinches of white pepper

Directions: First you sauté the celery and onion. Next, put in the walnuts and carrots and sauté once again for about 5 minutes. Pour 2 cups of water, close the lid and simmer for about 10 - 15 minutes. Now place them in a blender, pour the coconut milk and blend away until the ingredients become soupy.

Add pepper as well as the curry paste and blend again. Finally, drizzle the soup with some honey and enjoy.

Now let's complete this 2-course Paleo diet meal plan with one of my favorite dishes...

Meal 2 (Main Course):

Scrumptious Paleo Shoulder Pork Roast

A large piece of lean pork shoulder
½ Cup of fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
½ Cup of fresh sage (finely chopped)
½ Cup of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
5 - 7 cloves of finely chopped garlic (I love garlic!)
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
¼ Cup of olive oil

Directions: Place all ingredients (except for the pork shoulder, of course) in a bowl and stir them around for a good couple of minutes. Make sure they are nicely mixed together.

Now, put the lean pork shoulder on the oven and rub the blended ingredients all over it. Massage the meat with those ingredients (man I'm drooling already). Finally roast the shoulder for approximately 40 minutes. I usually cook a pound of shoulder and it takes around 35 - 40 minutes to roast.

Take out from oven and enjoy! They say Paleolithic diet foods are boring? NOOO! The above 2-course Paleo diet meal plan is the real deal my friends...

So get into your Crossfit workout, perhaps crossfit football, and get ready with your favorite paleo food.

As promised, here are some more Paleolithic recipe resources for your cooking pleasure. Download cookbooks with over 300 recipes so you can make a huge variety of Paleo diet meal plans.

Paleo Diet Snacks - Presenting the Quickest Way to Get Heaps of Incredible Paleo Snack Recipes

I used to feel sick of dieting the Paleo way simply because there was a lack of simple and tasty recipes on Paleo diet snacks. Naturally, I turned to the internet for help but alas, surfing for hours online in search of quality Paleolithic diet recipes proved to be futile.

See, I discovered quite a large number of recipes that were supposed to be "Paleo-friendly" from an all-in-one-place recipe website but the problem was...

Those recipes did not adhere to guidelines set by the Paleolithic diet rules!

Now, I understand that some people do not follow the rules vigorously, thus may wish to add one or two non-Paleo food ingredients to enhance the flavor of a particular recipe - but still...

Great tasting Paleo diet snacks recipes were very difficult to find!

Okay to cut a long story short, I finally uncovered a really quick way to obtain heaps of not only snacks, but also Paleo appetizer, main course, dessert and even special sandwich and noodle recipes that can all be prepared without breaking the Paleo guidelines.

Here's how you do it...

What you should do is access a registration-free Paleo diet foods discussion site. The members in discussion/chat sites are very generous and they're always willing to share helpful information including recipes and resources for the benefit of all Paleo diet practitioners

In fact, one of the site members (Special thanks to user name:paleocaveguy82) was so kind enough to point me to a site where I was able to download digital cookbooks containing more than 300 Paleo recipes. Incredible stuff!

Now, I have all sorts of ideas on how to conceive Paleo diet snack recipes that are not only easy to do, but taste wonderful as well.

Paleo Desserts - Cave Lions of The Paleolithic Era Would Love This Cookie Dessert Recipe!

Stop scratching your head trying to figure out how to make some butt-kicking Paleo desserts. See, I'm about to share with you a drool-inducing Paleo cookie recipe that will keep you coming back for more!

Listen, my circle of friends do not embrace the Paleo diet regimen. They sometimes make fun of my "caveman" meals so one day; I got a hold of these Encyclopedia-like Paleo cookbooks.

The books are stuffed with recipes on Paleo desserts. Appetizers, main courses and more are included as well, but this cookie recipe (which I will be sharing with you) caught my eye.

So, I made those cookies and offered them to my non-Paleo buddies...And, here's the kicker!

They all loved those cookies! I watched them disappear from my baking oven within 15 minutes.

It was totally insane and one friend remarked that if the Paleolithic era cave lions were alive right now, surely they would gobble up those cookies! Now, my friends want me to make more Paleo desserts.

Alright! Alright! Sorry for blabbing too much...

Here's the Paleo cookie recipe and if you need more yummy recipes that are Paleo oriented, I'll tell you where to get them after this recipe.

Recipe for Paleo Cookies

2 Tablespoons of arrowroot
1 Cup of flaked coconut
½ Teaspoon organic Kelp Granules (salt alternative)
½Cup of sesame seeds
¼ cup of sunflower seeds
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
½ Cup of finely chopped almonds
½ Cup of Maple Syrup (Non-Paleo friendly!)
4 Egg whites

Directions: Beat the egg whites until you get stiff peaks. Take out the skillet and dry fry the coconut and seeds until slightly browned. Put in almonds, organic kelp, and vanilla to the eggs and combine well. Now add in maple syrup and combine the mixture well.

Now let's cover the baking process. Oven should be preheated to about 300 degrees. A baking parchment should be laid on top of cookie sheet and buttered well.

Next, place a spoonful of mixture on the parchment paper. Bake at 300 for approximately 30 minutes. Let it cool first and then you may enjoy one of the best Paleo desserts!

Want to know some of the most easy to grow vegetables? Tell you what; I'm going to give you the top 5 list of easy to grow vegetables PLUS...

I'll also reveal the most top-notch organic gardening method. Now, I say this method is "top-notch" because if you apply it to your organic vegetable garden, you'll get some highly positive and highly terrific results...

Listen, I'll tell you about the method in just a bit. For now, let me give you the top 5 list of vegetables that are very easy to grow.

(1) Tomatoes

It's not difficult to grow tomatoes. I sow the seeds in soil that's fertile and very moist. In order to get constant supply of fresh organic tomatoes, I always make sure to sow the seeds about several weeks apart.

(2) Potatoes

Now, I love growing potatoes! What I like most about growing them is that they do not require a lot space. In fact, you can grow them in bins.

(3) Green Peas

Stalking is necessary if you want to grow them. After all, they grow on vines. You know, you can actually quicken the germination process, by soaking the seeds for about 2 hours so. After soaking, you can go ahead and sow them.

(4) Spinach

Popeye's favorite food can be grown easily. You can start with a handful of seeds and to get constant supply, simply sow the seeds in regular sequence every month.

(5) Onion

Unlike tomatoes or spinach, onion seedlings have to be planted instead of sown. I used to dislike growing organic onions because weed management is such a pain.

But thanks to the top-notch gardening method which I'm about to share, my organic garden where I grow onions and various other vegetables does not need weed management at all!

Let me tell you, it's so easy to grow vegetables using this method. It's almost hassle-free!

Maybe you've heard of this top-notch organic gardening method. It's called ecological gardening and it's very simple to set up. The idea behind ecological gardening is to set up a vegetable garden that imitates natural habitat.

This way, you don't have to worry about digging, managing weeds, crop rotation, tillage and more. Pests are also repelled naturally. Yes, you don't have to use chemicals and pesticides on an ecological organic garden.

In addition to those benefits, ecological gardening actually produces more fresh organic fruits and vegetables compared to traditional gardening!

By the way, you can learn to set up an ecological garden today. It's very easy to grow vegetables using the ecological gardening formula. Videos on how to do it are available and very simple to follow along...

In the Paleolithic Period, fire and agriculture had not been developed.  Cavemen were hunters and gatherers moving in small groups -- always looking for shelter and food.

All of the food that Cavemen ate was raw. Wheat grain, potatoes and bean contain toxins if eaten raw and were not part of our ancestors' Paleo Diet.

Animals had not been domesticated.  Therefore Cavemen and Cavewomen did not drink cow's milk.

Cavemen living near waterways had a high consumption of fish. Cavemen living inland had a high consumption of wild animals, especially small game and birds. Of course, the Cavemen had to hunt and capture these animals.

Capturing wild animals was a dangerous life.

Cavemen only had wooden spears tipped with sharpened stone heads.

The Paleolithic Period ended approximately 10,000 years ago -- and is a critical stage of Humankind's evolution.  The Paleo Diet is an invaluable gift to us -- their descendants.

The principal behind raw food consumption is simple: raw food is intact, all the fragile nutrients are present and none of it's "life force" is lessened by processing. It's bonkers when you ponder that most of our food takes days, weeks or even months to reach us from the moment it leaves the soil or is plucked from it's branch. Then the first thing we do is heat treat it!! Cooking as we know it undoubtedly lessens the nutrient potential of fruit and vegetables.

Metabolic Cooking will help you burn fat faster by boosting your metabolism in many ways. But now, what’s more important, is that our recipes taste great. They aren't those tasteless meals that you actually start to avoid just because you can't stand the smell of them. They're meals you will look forward to, probably even start to crave...
